Session
To distinguish between the different visitors of our eShop, the system creates a session ID for each visitor. This session ID will be saved in a cookie on your computer to recognise returning visitors and registered customers.
Orders & Payments by Telephone
For safety and security purposes your credit card number is not stored by AKA of London.
The Card Verification Value or CVV2, which is the 3 digit security code on the rear of the card, will not be stored by AKA of London as it is illegal to store CVV2 numbers. It may only be used at the time of the card authentication process.
All credit card details are shredded upon completion of the transaction, so if a refund is required for any reason your credit card details will have to be taken again to process the refund.
Orders & Payments Over The Internet
Our shop has full SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protection which is why you see “https” at the start of the web address. SSL provides 3 important things: Privacy, Authentication, and Message Integrity. This means that all information and details you provide whilst visiting our shop are safe and secure.
Registration and Enquiry Forms, Surveys and Contests
Our registration, enquiry forms, surveys and contests ask you to provide us with your contact details, such as name, postal and e-mail addresses. The information you provide will enable us to provide information about our company to you and to contact you. We will only provide this information where you indicate that you wish to receive further information from us on a regular basis.
We also collect demographic and profile data on our web site.
We use this data, together with the cookies, to tailor your experience when visiting our web site. We intend to show you content that we think may be of interest to you and in accordance with your preferences.

Please note that any demand for access may be subject to payment of a fee of £10 which covers our costs in providing you with the information requested.
